If you are looking for craft ideas to keep you occupied over Christmas, look no further than the humble orange.
These dried oranges look lovely on trees and garlands, as well as to use when wrapping gifts – and they’re plastic free and smell AMAZING!!
Here’s how you make them:
Thinly slice oranges – I would say about 4 to 1cm slices.
Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Put in the oven on a low heat (80-100°C fan) for about 4 hours, turning the slices every so often.
Once fully dry, leave to cool
Either place directly onto the tree or garland and fix with twine or wire.
Alternatively, you could thread onto ribbon when wrapping gifts – it looks lovely and a lot fancier and time consuming than it actually is!
